Shit’s about to get hairy!

Oh hey, my first Belgian review!
Oh, how I wish it was better.
We got ourselves Gulden Draak Vintage, today. It’s a Belgian Strong Ale, about a 7.5% ABV.
Now this is nowhere in league with the 9000 Brouwerij Van Steenberge N.V offers (go grab a few of those if you ever have a chance, 10.5% ABV Quad that kicks like a mule and tastes like god’s tears) but it’s pleasant.
Taste is sweet, caramel hints and easy finish. If you’re not overly fond of Belgians, I can see this being a good choice with your back against the wall.
Anyway, I’m going to finish this because, beer.

Wow. It’s pretty excellent to wake up to not one, but two new stories out in the wild!
Can’t say how proud I am to have a story published over at Out of The Gutter and Revolt Daily. I’ve admired both sites and the writers they publish for quite a while now.
Since I’m assuming this was sort of a stars aligning every millennia fluke, I’ll keep at this writing thing even harder. I ain’t even started yet.

New story goodness over at Shotgun Honey!
If you enjoy it, do yourself a favor and check out stories from the other writers on the site. Very proud to be included among these ranks.

Sorry about that headline.
Not really. It’s awesome.
Anyway, I’m drinking some Sierra Nevada Summerfest!
Well, hot damn, a Czech Pilsener that doesn’t taste like a BBQ in Pelham Bay Park (if you get it, you get it).
First, let me say, this pours GORGEOUS – like, TV commercial gorgeous. What an amazing color.
Second, this is definitely my go to summer grilling beer. Light, enjoyable and refreshing. Decent ABV of 5.0%, which puts it in line with most of the garbage pilseners you can get your hands on in the wild.
Sierra Nevada is really becoming one of my top 3 favorite breweries. Their IPAs are outstanding and this bad boy is another home run.
